How did Unlimited Getaways get its start?
 "I got started in 1985. An old friend of mine put a ski trip together to Vermont. It was a disaster! They all took
separate cars on their trip there. There were accidents, speeding tickets, and it was totally disorganized. So I decided that
It would be easier renting a bus so that people can enjoy the ride and refreshments on the way. I then encouraged my son
to run the ski club while in high school so he can put together a weekend trip to Vermont. It went great. We kept doing it on
a yearly basis. Friends told other friends about how good of a time they had and we signed up more and more people every year.

How do you come up with trip ideas and themes?
We come up with trip ideas by doing surveys, special deals from vendors, and our own personal interests.
Sometimes, someone will suggest a trip and if it gets enough interest, we will book it . You can contact us by email with new trip ideas.

How can I find out about upcoming trips in advance?
You can check the web site periodically, as we updated with new trip schedules, or you can sign up to receive our newsletter, filled with
information on upcoming trips.

How do I get on your mailing list?
See our contact us page to join our mailing list by telephone, fax or e-mail.

How many trips have you organized so far?
We have organized over 60 trips in North America and Europe.

Are the trips very group-oriented, or can I spend most of my time with a select group of friends or by myself?
You have complete freedom to to whatever you want, whenever you want to when you join out group trips. Just because you are booking as a group does not mean you have to spend all your time with the group.

Can I pay for the trip via monthly installments?
Yes, you can pay for trips in interest free installments.

How can I pay for the trips, what methods of payment?
You can pay for the trip by cash or check. We will add a credit card payment option in the near future.

If an emergency comes up or I change my mind about a particular trip, will I be able to get a refund? What is your refund policy?
In the event of an emergency or last minute cancellation, it is possible to get a portion of your payment back.
However, we suggest you purchase travel insurance at time of booking. Another option is to sell your spot to
someone else (this will be decided on a case-by-case basis).

What is your refund policy?
There is no refund policy.

Will there be a doctor on the trips (national and international)?
When traveling overseas, you should consider consulting your personal physician at your discretion.
Remember, you are traveling at your own risk.  

How do I book and pay for my chosen trip?
You can book a trip by email, telephone. We are working on offering an online booking option as well.
 
Do I have to participate in the activities itinerary?
On any and all our trips, you do what you want, when you want. You can do everything or do
absolutely nothing. It’s your vacation!
 
Will there be people like me?
There is no such thing as a typical trip goer!! All kinds of people go on these trips....all ages...from all walks of life.... singles, couples and families.

Can I get a special diet?
Most of the restaurants and inns we book can accommodate salt-free, low-carbohydrate, Kosher, or other diet preferences.
However, this request must be made in advance, so be sure to advice as when you book your trip.
